Jadwiga Maria Jarosiewicz - painter and scene painter

Jadwiga Maria Jarosiewicz was born in Przemysl. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow Studying painting with prof.Czeslaw Rzepinski and Stage Design with prof .Andrzej Kreutz Majewski.

The area of her particular interest however is stage and costume disign for operas. Jadwiga Maria Jarosiewicz,s thetrical performances are known to opera lovers all over Poland ,and in likewise Japan,Germany ,Cuba. She made designed stage projects for more than 80 operas. She worked with the best Polish directors in the Teatr Wielki –Polish National Opera in Warsaw,and all over Poland . Jadwiga maria Jarosiewicz made also stage and costume designs for drama theatres in Warsaw and other Polish cites .

She is also active as a painter. The main subject of her paintings is the human being. She specialises in portrait. Her works of an art has been shown on many exibitions in Poland annd abroad :in Prague,in San Francisco,Minneapolis in the USA , Zurych in Swisserland ,ect. Her painting are in many famous collections in Poland and abroad.

She also cooperates with some charitable organization such as " Towarzystwo im. św. Brata Alberta ", Rotary Club or Aukcja Wielkiego Serca " giving some paintings for charity auction.
